![]() so what if I delete or copy files while it is cloning? How does it not end up with a disk image that contains partial files or directories? How on earth does it do this? What is preventing Windows update (or one of the hundreds of other background apps or services) from changing the data while the drive is being copied? How does MR accomodate for this? It doesn't even prevent the user from doing things. What boggles my mind though, is how MR can image or clone an operating system drive while the OS is live. ![]() ![]() As with most boot-drive cloning I have found the need to do some extra command line steps to get cloned drives bootable, but overall everything works as expected. I'm super impressed with how well it works. Based on recommendations here at r/datahoarder and other places, I recently started using Macrium Reflect for making backup images or for cloning a drive when upgrading. ![]()
